Updated guidelines Version 9
While the relaxation to COVID restrictions are welcome, the virus remains a concern, and we must do our utmost to make play safe.
Please do not come to the club if you are showing any symptoms and, for the purposes of Track-&-Trace, if you become unwell after playing, you must contact your GP and then inform the club.
We ask members to follow the following guidelines:
Both singles and doubles are permitted.
You must book your court through the ClubSpark website for Track-&-Trace purposes.
Hand sanitiser is available in the courtyard area – please sanitise your hands before and after you play.
Arrive as close as possible to the time of your booking, and leave promptly when you have finished playing.
Social distancing must be maintained, before, during, and after play.
The rule of six applies at all times – This means no more than six people are allowed in the courtyard area at any one time due to the limited space.
The clubhouse remains closed, except to use the toilet and pick up balls and light tokens.
Please wear a mask if you must enter the clubhouse. If you do hit a period of congestion, members are advised to wear a mask until they get on court.
Balls and light tokens will be left out and we ask you to operate the same honour system as previously.
No guests are allowed to play until further notice due to the limited court space available.
The bar is open:
No drinks will be served in the courtyard area to avoid congestion.
A few tables with chairs will be set up on the Bueno Balcony.
Only a Committee member or authorised bar person is allowed to open the bar and sell refreshments, and this is dependant on availability.
Masks are mandatory when entering the clubhouse where toilets are available.
No drinks can be bought or consumed indoors.
Masks may be removed when seated on the balcony where the the ‘Rule of 6’ or ‘two households’ applies.
Because of the very limited space, it will not be always possible to have a drink.
No table bookings are possible.
No guests are allowed.
We hope to see you on court soon and many thanks for your ongoing support.
